Paris Jackson has slammed "meltdown" rumours following her decision to take some time away from the public eye.

It was reported last month (Jan19) that the daughter of the late Michael Jackson was seeking help for her mental and emotional health at a live-in treatment facility.

Paris blasted the "exaggerated" story at the time, and insisted she was simply taking a break from work and social media because "it can be too much sometimes".

However, she has been forced again to clear up speculation surrounding her wellbeing, and shot down rumours about her alleged "meltdown" in a series of posts on Twitter on Saturday night (02Feb19).

"There's no meltdown, no 'losing (my) s**t,' or being demanding of anyone. please don't believe what you read," the 20-year-old wrote. "Just bc (because) i was spotted grabbing coffee in LA after taking a nice long break from the chaotic media for some reason makes 'journalists' think they can run wild with my name (sic)."

Just a few days ago, Paris was spotted strolling through West Hollywood with her boyfriend Gabriel Glenn.

"I said it before and I'll say it again," she added. "I'm the happiest and healthiest I've been in a long time."

Paris has been open about her battle with depression and anxiety, and in 2013, she was hospitalised after attempting suicide. The model later admitted she tried to take her own life a number of times during an interview with Rolling Stone back in 2017.

"I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help," she told the outlet. "It was just self-hatred. Low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore."
